Frankie (or should I call him Frank) is 1 year old.  Lookout he might be driving through your neighborhood soon.  If you LOVE this car let me know it is for sale!!!  I have been wanting to do this shoot for so long...

On another note, I can not believe that my baby is 1 year old.  I am absolutely in love with this boy, in love with each day and every moment, he makes me complete.  I can not wait for more moments!!

I love this face.  He is the joy of my day, even after being up at 1:30 and 5:30 A.M.  His smile, giggle and quite simply all of his expressions I am in love with.  What a sweet spirit.  My boy!

It has been so busy with the fall rush that I have not had time to update you on Frankie.  He is growing so fast which is sad, but he gets more fun everyday with giggles and smiles and this I love.  

Frankie is 9 weeks old and weighing in at 12.7 pounds and 24.5 inches long, 75% for his age, what a big boy!!  He is an easy going and super smiley baby.  Each day gets better and better.  I am in love!!

I am excited about doing a series of images with Frankie in this vintage carriage.  We start with him at 6 weeks.  Wow, he has gotten so big already, weighing in at almost 11 pounds.  Crazy.

My two boys took a nap together the other afternoon outside.  Sherman has certainly taken to his new brother.

When Joe and I got married, 6 years ago, I carried a handkerchief that had once been a bonnet that Joe wore home from the hospital when a newborn.  Frankie, only 6 days old, I photographed wearing his bonnet.  Joe's mom made it for him from a hanky that she bought in Italy.  One day, a very long time from now, Frankie's bride will carry his bonnet as a handkerchief on their wedding day... the story of the bonnet.

The other day Alison came to visit Baby Frankie.  She decided to cool off in the sprinkler and her mom joined in the fun too.

Finally getting around to editing and posting a few pictures from Frankie's first week at home.  We are all adjusting well.  Sherman, our dog, is already protective over his new brother.

It has already been 12 days since Frankie was born.  We are absolutely in love with him and enjoying each day.  His birth was such a miraculous and wonderful occasion.  Most of our family were able to be there to share in the experience, wow it was awesome.

Francis Joseph Pierzchala July 13, 2009 8 lbs 1.2 oz * 21 inches.

He is named after my mom's father, Francis Joseph Labyak and also my adorable husband Joe.

I sit here 9 days away from my due date and I am very anxious and ready to meet Baby P.  I saw this picture today and realized that I am not in control, believe it or not, and so I must LET IT HAPPEN!!!  The timing will be perfect when it is meant to happen. 

My husband and I celebrate our 6 year wedding anniversary this weekend.  I am so blessed to have married such a wonderful man, I love him so much.  So for now I will focus my energy on him and us, the life we have created and be thankful, still and just be.  

This past weekend a couple of my amazing girlfriends threw us a baby shower.  It was so much fun to have all of my favorite woman over to our little house for an outdoor party.  I feel so blessed to have such amazing friends in my life and to have been showered with so many great gifts.  

We welcome this new little addition in just 4 weeks, unless he/she decides to make an early appearance!!!  I will keep you posted.
