Shawn & Heather- Married

I am honored to have a featured wedding in the latest Knot Magazine. Sam & Anna's unique wedding at Beaver Creek was such a treat to document. They showed such great taste through out all the details of their wedding.

In late October I shot my first wedding since having Frankie P. Kelly has been a bridesmaid in a couple of weddings that I have shot, so when she called me to photograph her wedding, I was so honored. Despite a little wind, it was a gorgeous fall day for their wedding. Kelly has such a special relationship with her Dad, it was special to document the love that they share. As her father said, they were best friends. So awesome!!
Congratulations to you all.

These two, all I can say is WOW!! We, they, had a sexy time the day after the wedding. Enjoy.

Mark & Briley were married this past weekend on the most amazing winters day. What a gorgeous couple on the inside as well as out!! The love they share for each other and for their friends and family you can feel from a mile away. I wish that I could shoot their day all over again, oh wait we did. More images from their day after shoot coming soon.
Congrats to you two. I cant wait to continue a friendship with you.

There are alot of images for this post and there are many reasons.
1. Beth & Matt are awesome and I loved spending the day with them.
2. I have gotten several emails from guests asking where the pictures are!! More for you all.
3. This was my last wedding until December.
4. Because I want to.
I hope you enjoy the glimpse into my last Saturday with Beth & Matt and see how wonderful it was. These two are so in love and passionate about one another that the day was gorgeous and full of emotion. Congrats!!!

Matt is a ski patrol at Beaver Creek and so he wanted to get married on top of the mountain. That could not happen so they saw each other there before the ceremony!! It was perfect.

A view of SaddleRidge from the chair lift!! I love fall.

Gorgeous flowers by Liz www.fleurdelizweddings.com I love working with her!

I love my job for many reasons, one reason is that every weddings details are totally different and second, I love the emotion that fills the day. Saturday was so great for many different things, but these two stand out. Chelsey and Ben planned this wedding to totally fit their personalities with cowboy boots, fish belt buckles, bow ties, simple and elegant decor.... The love these two have for one another, their families and friends is hard to not see and feel right away. I was blown away by the love and emotion at this wedding!! You two are a beautiful couple and you all make a wonderful family! I hope to know you for a very long time.
This wedding had great vendors too, ones I love to work with like
Colorado Wedding Co.- Paige & CC coordinated the day, I love these two ladies!
Flowers- The Flower House, Sara always does a beautiful job!

Matt & Lindsey's wedding turned out to be a gorgeous fall day in the mountains of Colorado. I love September weddings!!! Lots of sun, smiles, tears and fun were to be had. I just adore Lindsey & Matt and hope they turn into friends for a very long time.
The day was coordinated by Kathy Vaughan with A Beautiful Memory. Kristie & Elizabeth with Delilah's did an incredible job on the flowers. And I had not worked with Neil from Heneka Wedding Videography before so it was great to meet him. All and all it was a wonderful team and the day was perfect.
Lindsey's dress and attention to detail was amazing!!

Wow, Saturdays wedding at Beano's Cabin could not have been planned any better. Anna worked with so many great vendors to pull her and Sam's wedding day off without a hitch. Heather ,with Calluna Events, was the day of coordinator. Anna collaborated with a family friend who works for the Denver Botanical Garends for the wonerful and unique table decor. Bella Fiori designed the amazing bouquets and centerpieces. Anna also did alot of research on Style me Pretty for the invitations, menus, place cards and I can't forget the cute birds that topped the cake. Overall, it was such an perfect day, I was so honored to be apart of documenting all of it.
Congratulations to you both and to your families. I had so much fun laughing with you all.

Last Saturday was such a great day, despite the 103 degree temperatures. Susan and Nate are such genuine and real people, it has been an honor to get to know them both. Their wedding was beautiful and well planned at Denvers Phipps Mansion. Susan had a unique gorgeous dress, the details were perfect and Nate of course very handsome!! Congrats to you all. I loved getting to know you both better and meeting all of the special people in your lives!!
The flowers were designed by Lauren Renfrow - L Floral Design

A couple of weeks ago I shot Max & Amy's wedding in Beaver Creek at Saddle Ridge. Despite rain the wedding was gorgeous. Amy & Max love life, people, laughter and each other, so as you can imagine it was a special day. I was joined by my friend Kurstin Roe, www.roe-photo.com, from D.C for the wedding. It was so much fun to have him shooting along side, he got so many amazing images!! Thanks Kirstin, come to Colorado any time.
Congrats Amy & Max, it was a pleasure to meet you both. I will be calling the next time I am in Seattle.
The wedding was coordinated by the amazing Meg Stepanek with Gemini Events, geminieventplanning.com, I always love working with Meg!!

This past Friday I shot Jolyn & Mike's wedding at my favorite venue in Colorado, Devils Thumb Ranch. The day was planned perfectly because Jolyn is an event coordinator, evey detail was gorgeous and I was in heaven. I love details!! Then because of the amazing winter in the mountains, the wild flowers were everywhere.
I am so happy to have been apart of such an amazing day. I wish I could shoot it all over again!! Thanks to all the wedding party and guests for being so much fun.
Now enjoy, this is a long post.

Jolyn gave each of the girls a black pearl necklace for a wedding gift and wrote a little note to each, Jolyn is extremely thoughful.

Waiting to see Mike. Jolyn looked amazing!!

Mike's expression was priceless.

The flower girl and ring bearer where the best kids I have ever worked with at a wedding. They were up for anything all day long and not to mention adorable.

The church doors were so great and make for an artsy photo.

Some more wedding party fun after the ceremony.

And a little alone time for Mike and Jolyn.

I certainly could have added many more images to this post, but will leave it here.

This weekend was great!! It was the 4th of July, my 5 year anniversary and I was in Crested Butte. I had never been there before, wow what a beautiful place. Saturday I started the day off by walking around town to capture some art. I realized that you can not live in Crested Butte if you do not own a vintage Schwinn bicycle. Then I met up with the ladies for getting ready pictures and thats when the weather turned rainy. BTW- the weather report said a 30% chance of scattered rain showers. Laura and I were supposed to meet Mark in a field of wild flowers just outside of town for their first meeting and I wondered if she would still be game with the rain, but she was and we did and it was beautiful. After the field we headed back to town for wedding party pictures, we had a blast. The wedding party was game for walking around town and I had scouted out some fun buildings ahead of time!! So for most of pictures it cleared up except for clouds, then the ceremony time came and so did the rain. But Laura and Mark got married outside anyways and it was beautiful!!
What a wonderful day. Congrats to you both and to your adorable families. I had a great day/ anniversary with you all!!

I swear there is at least 1 or 10 Schwinn bicycles on every block.

Laura got her dress from Anna Be in Denver, perfect for her mountain wedding!!

Their first meeting was perfect!

Crested Butte is known for its wild flowers and I can see why.

There was no sun, but I wanted to create a little just for fun.

The girls dresses were from Anthropology. I love that store!!

And so the rain came, the programs came in handy for more than just a good read.

It would have been a shame to move the ceremony location and not have this view.

Half way through the ceremony the rain stopped!! The flower girls were excited.

Cheers!
Oliver & Erin are married and it was such a wonderful day. I could photograph these two every day, so genuine and in love!! They both went to Regis University so it was very appropriate for the ceremony to take place there. Then we headed up the foothills to Dunafon Castle, such a great venue with unique character. Liz with Fleur de Liz weddings did the flowers which of course were gorgeous.
Congratulations to you both and to your families!!

Oliver & Erin chose to see each other before the ceremony. I love the excitement in Erin's face as Oliver approached.

We had gorgeous light to work with all day!!

Such a great moment at every ceremony. I love Oliver's parents in the background, so proud.

Just Married and lovin it!!

I love at weddings when we have the opportunity to do a group shot.

The castle looked amazing at night.

Wow, what a weekend!!! Chad and Karin are married and many people worked so hard to pull of a perfect event. Stacy with Alexan Events www.alexanevents.com
coordinated the day and not one thing was off schedule or not where it needed to be for the days events. Chad and Karin have such amazing friends and families that simply adore the two of them individually and as a couple. I am so thrilled that I got to be apart of such an awesome wedding and that I get to be friends with this great couple. Enjoy your honeymoon, you two deserve much R&R.
The details were beautiful, the emotion wonderful. We started off the day at Chad's moms home. I loved all of the her flowers and decor.

The dogs could not be at the actual wedding, so we included them in some pictures adoring ties that matched the colors of the wedding.

And this is "Tana", such a sweet dog that belongs to Chad. She just passed away this morning, but will not be forgotten.

Chad and Karin had custom ties made for the groomsmen and gave them cuff links too.

The guys looked great!!

I wish I knew what it felt like to be a mom at your oldest sons wedding. Robin is such a great mom!

Just some fun details!!

Karin got ready at the Ritz Carlton in Aspen. She looked amazing in her dress and veil!

The Girls!! You can always count on the bridesmaids to laugh and have fun with pictures. I love it!

I love this series between Karin and her Mom. They looked gorgeous too.

Karin with her Sister, so fun, and her Dad, love it!!

Karin's veil was so fun. She looks so beautiful in these next photos.

Karin & her Dad road to the ceremony in a horse drawn carriage.

Just a sweet detail from the ceremony. I love the light!!

Just Married!!!

I love this shot of Karin and Chad taken at the Aspen Historical Building. Gorgeous light.

It finally is spring time in Aspen, the flowering trees were in full force.

And some fun with the couple, dancing in the street!

You could tell that Chad and Karin had practiced hard on their first dance. It was so entertaining and fun!! The reception was held at the T Lazy 7 Ranch www.tlazy7.com in the base of the Maroon Bells in Aspen. Beautiful!

Cheers!!
